Third Rock Map Art is an art studio creating map art pieces. 

Art maps are abstract representations of the earth that let you see the world in new and beautiful ways.

Whilst working for an earth observation company where I became fascinated by the beautiful effects that could be created and I began experimenting with map art styles and techniques. 

I use a variety of data sources such as elevation data, satellite imagery, contour lines, road lines, building outlines & other data layers. These are then mixed, merged & adapted.

Wherewolf Maps is a publishing company creating maps and books to help you explore the world. 

Products include wall and pushpin maps, travel guide and thematic atlases and travel journal atlases. 

I started Wherewolf Maps on Halloween, because that's when w(h)erewolves come out into the open.

I began creating my own simple maps to help me plan various trips. These maps and a passion for travel formed the basis of the travel journal map atlas range- maps designed to be written on.
